Drilling-new mine project

The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) was the carrier of coal research for the purpose of supplying a new thermal power plant.

Within the defined south and North area of research, in the period Jul – September 2018. The field geological, geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations were performed. Within this project GEOING GROUP performed 9,948.30 m of investigative drilling, which his expert team of geologists escorted with geological and engineering geological mapping.

The Obligation of the mapping geologists was the selection and sampling for chemical and geomechanical investigations of coal and accompanying sediments.

Modern equipment, professional relationship and long-standing experience in the realization of similar projects in the research of coal deposits, enabled the contractual obligations to be carried out in a Timely, quality and extent.
