Ambassador of Egypt to Serbia Mr. Bassel S Ahmed organized on 26th July 2022 ceremonial reception for the occasion of the National Day of Egypt, which marks 70 years since the declaration of the modern Arab Republic, and on that occasion he expressed his gratitude to the President of Serbia and the Government for the magnificent welcome of President el-Sisi, adding that he hopes that they will soon be able to reciprocate.

The reception, which was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Geoing Groups representative PhD Dragana Savić, which followed only five days after the historic visit of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Belgrade, was an opportunity for the ambassador to remind that this visit is an indicator of strong friendly ties and the desire of both parties to strongly encourage bilateral relations in all spheres.
